Cybersecurity Conferences in Japan 2026

Japan's security conferences are concentrated in Tokyo, with a strong research and practitioner focus. CODE BLUE in November is the largest international conference, AVTOKYO runs alongside it, and JPCERT/CC hosts the Japan Security Analyst Conference each January. Nano Opt Media's Security Days series tours Sapporo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Tokyo and Nagoya every spring and autumn. The academic community meets at the Computer Security Symposium organised by IPSJ and at IWSEC, and the Hardening Project runs a competition with spectator sessions. Gartner holds its Cybersecurity and Risk Management Summit in Tokyo each July.
