About

An AISA NSW branch meeting with two sessions. John Allender of Automation Anywhere and Matt Fedele-Sirotich of CSO Group cover governance and guardrails for an AI augmented security operations centre, drawing on enterprise use cases across threat intelligence, detection engineering and incident response. Obase Mandi Manga of S.A.F.E. Engine then runs a live AI incident simulation in which decision teams respond to a compromised autonomous agent under time pressure and are scored on detection speed, containment, regulatory alignment and governance maturity. Runs 5:30pm to 7:30pm with networking drinks and light refreshments after the presentations. Registration is free for AISA members and $115.50 including GST for non-members.

About the Organiser

AISA

The Australian Information Security Association (AISA) is Australia's peak body for security professionals and runs the country's largest security event, the Australian Cyber Conference (CyberCon), held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre each October. It also runs one-day state conferences under the SEC banner: PerthSEC, AdelaideSEC, BrisSEC, DarwinSEC and others, typically at a city hotel. Between conferences, AISA branches hold monthly member meetings in each capital, including a regular Victorian branch meeting in Melbourne and an ACT branch meeting in Canberra, and the online branch runs webinars on current topics. Membership is not required to attend most branch events.
