An AISA Tasmania branch meeting with two talks. Thomas Mackay, Head of Information Security at MyState, covers using Model Context Protocol servers to automate and scale vulnerability identification, prioritisation and remediation across large environments. Andrew Elwell of the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre covers the risk profile of supercomputing platforms, the engineering constraints behind their cost and the storage systems that make them work. Registration opens 5:15pm, presentations run 5:45pm to 6:45pm and networking with light refreshments follows until 7:30pm. Registrations close 5:00pm on 22 September. Registration is free for AISA members and $115.50 including GST for non-members.
