A Hack The Box New Zealand community meetup in Wellington. MrBruh presents Breaking Bad Routers: 6 Vendors, 6 Shells, 0 Days, on firmware research across six consumer router vendors that produced 28 vulnerabilities and remote code execution against every vendor tested, followed by a guided walkthrough of a Hack The Box machine. Bring a laptop, a Hack The Box account and Discord. Starts 5:30pm and runs to 8:30pm. Free to attend. Attendance is capped at 50 and the RSVP list is full, with a waitlist in operation.

Hack The Box

Hack The Box is the gamified cybersecurity training platform, and its community meetups in Australia and New Zealand are hands-on sessions rather than talks. Hack The Box New Zealand runs a monthly meetup in Auckland at AUT, where attendees work through platform challenges together, share techniques and help newcomers get started. Sessions are free, informal and open to anyone from students to experienced penetration testers.
