CrikeyCon

CrikeyCon is Brisbane's grassroots security conference, run by volunteers since 2014 and now in its twelfth year. It is a single-day, single-track event each April with talks selected by open call for papers, a capture-the-flag competition and a strong social programme, and it deliberately keeps ticket prices low so students and newcomers can attend. Speakers range from well-known Australian researchers to first-time presenters, and the community feel is the point.
