SANS Institute

The SANS Institute is the largest provider of hands-on cybersecurity training, and its Australian events are week-long training weeks rather than conferences. SANS Sydney runs at Cliftons in September, SANS Melbourne at Oakwood Premier in Southbank in October and SANS Canberra at the Novotel in November, each offering a selection of its GIAC-aligned courses in person and live online. A Women in Cyber training event runs in Sydney in March. Courses are paid and priced per seat, with early-bird discounts, and most weeks include free evening talks and NetWars tournaments that anyone can register for.
